sugars which generate scales, whose consistency depends on the washing frequencies, concentration of processed product and temperature.  These scales, due to the high operating temperatures that in sterilizers can reach 150ºC, carbonize and form layers of carbonized organic substance, which are particularly difficult to remove.

DESCAL – KPM solves the problem quickly and cost effectively since it dissolves this type of contamination with fairly short application times and at concentrations of use significantly lower compared to regular alkaline degreasers. 

The use of a DISCAL K water solution allows eliminating the abrasive mechanical action without causing any corrosion to the system. 

WARNING: use the product cautiously on aluminium, copper and relative alloys.

The concentration of DESCAL – KPM to use in water solution depends on some main parameters:

CONCENTRATORS

For treatments every 15 days: 0.5/ 1%

For treatments every 30 days: 1.5/ 3%

According to the quantity of processed product and consistency.

STERILIZERS:

For treatments every 15 days: 1.5/ 2%

For treatments every 30 days: 3/ 4%

According to the quantity and consistency of the product, and operating temperature.

END OF PROCESS TREATMENT:

According to the consistency of the scales and carbonization: 5/ 10%
