APPLICATIONS PDF
VECTIS are formulated to be used in all circulation systems and therefore in a wide range of applications such as centrifugal pumps, alternative hydraulic pumps, textile machines, alternative vacuum pumps, woodworking machines, printing machines, machine tools, machines.
for the chemical industry, vibrating sieves, cellulose processing machines, reciprocating compressors, rolling bearings that rotate at low rpm/min., lubrication of gearboxes where no addition of Extreme Pressure is required.
FEATURES
- High natural viscosity index, which varies with temperatures.
- Low sliding point, for machinery operating in cold environments.
- Good demulsibility which allows a fast separation of the incorporated water, without forming emulsions and therefore without premature deterioration of the lubricant properties.
- Good oxidation stability obtained by balancing appropriate additives and low carbon residue when used at high temperatures.
- High flash point, especially in the most viscous gradations, with a consequent lower risk of evaporation and therefore of fire.
- Anti-foaming power that hinders the formation of foam and facilitates the separation in case of air entrapping in the lubricant caused by a strong concussion.
- Anti-wear additives, to avoid the slight wear of moving metals.
- Anti-rust power, to protect the most delicate parts of the system even if exposed to atmospheric agents.

VECTIS 125 is fully compatible with most elastomers and metals normally used in machinery. The product is compatible with polyacrylate polymers, organic polysulfides (Thiocol), polychloroprene (Neoprene), polyurethanes (Adipiene), copolymers of epichlorohydrin (Kydrin), fluorosilicone rubbers, fluorinated elastomers (Viton), butadiene copolymers and acrylic nitrile (BunaN , Hycar, Paracril), silicones.
The product is not compatible with engine oils, transmission oils and metal cutting fluids.
Mixing with these products can give rise to the formation of foams and sludge.
