The KEMPHOS S is a phospho-degreaser for pre-painting operations on steel, aluminum, zinc, copper and alloys.
The product is indicated in cases where high corrosion resistance is desired and therefore high performance in salt mist time.

KEMPHOS S is a liquid product, immediately miscible with water, and is therefore easily measurable both manually and with automatic systems.

In the formulation of the product surfactants are added, which guarantee the complete removal of oily contaminants as well as inorganic buffered salts that produce effective phosphatization of the surfaces.

With only one treatment, both the woodworking and the phosphatization of the surfaces are obtained.

KEMPHOS S forms on ferrous surfaces an amorphous phosphorous iron layer that can reach medium thickness coatings of 1,2 – 1, 4 g / m2.

This is a good base for anchoring for subsequent painting cycles indipendently from their nature.

The product provides excellent results even when used at low temperatures (30-50 ° C).

HOW TO USE

• Concentration: 10 - 20 gr/lt.
• Optimal temperature: 40°-50°C
• Contact time: 1-3 min
• pH: 4-5

TITRATION BATH

• Take 5 ml of solution.
• Add 20 ml of distilled water.
• Add 2 drops of phenolphthalein.
• Titre with NaOH 0.1 N.
• Conversion factor 2 (ml di NaOH needed to get pink color x 3,2 = gr of KEMPHOS S).
