HOW TO USE

The thickness of EPOX BLACK to be applied, even if variable depending on the conditions, must be around 200-300 microns. Appropriate pretreatment is of great importance for the duration of the protective system and it is essential that:

• The surfaces are perfectly clean, free from grease, oils and traces of humidity.
  The application temperature must not be less than 5 ° C.
• The two components A and B of EPOX BLACK must be carefully mixed in the ratio of 5 to 1 and the useful life of the mixture is about 2 hours. If possible, use a mechanical mixer as the manual mixing does not guarantee a good homogeneity of the mixture, especially at low temperatures.
• For a brush or roller application, don’t add diluent.
• By spraying it is recommended to dilute with a 5% epoxy diluent.

COVERING DURATION

The results of the treatment and its duration over time, which can normally be expected in 4-5 years, are influenced by a strict compliance with the methods of application and the type of corrosive agent with which the product can come into contact.
