Finish featuring a high content of zinc, that protects iron, steel and aluminium surfaces against rust and corrosion. KEMPRO ZINCO leaves a protective layer with a high percentage of metallic zinc on the treated surface, able to confer a level of protection equal to galvanic zinc coating, but without the inconveniences and high costs of the latter. The micro-particles of pure zinc firmly anchor to the iron and steel and the surface layer of zinc oxide that forms, prevents corrosion and rust. The finish that is formed with the treatment, is extremity flexible and allows bending the material without peeling off and cracking. The surface treated with KEMPRO ZINCO can be easily welded and is an excellent primer for paints:

• It anchors to the metal more firmly than any anti-rust product.
• It forms an extremely protective and safe finish which is very stable also at high temperatures.
• It forms a film with surface suitable for anchoring the finish paint coat.

The fields of application of  KEMPRO ZINCO  are numerous:

Air conditioning systems, agricultural machinery, vehicles’ chassis, fences, naval equipment, sheet roofs, augers, ornaments in wrought iron, railway equipment, tanks, trellis, piping.

KEMPRO ZINCO is dry to the touch in 2 minutes, it anchors in 15 -20 minutes and dries in depth in 12 hours. 

METHODS OF USE

KEMPRO ZINCO is easy to apply. However, a few indications must be followed to obtain optimal results.

• The surfaces to treat must be clean and perfectly dry
• The dilutant to use, in general in the ratio of 15%, must be of synthetic type, anti-fog, and absolutely free of humidity
• The thickness of KEMPRO ZINCO layer must not exceed 20 micron (120-130 gr/m²)

If you want to obtain a thicker layer, proceed with various applications, waiting a few hours in between each of them.

The product is also available in 400 ml spray bottle.

In this version, KEMPRO ZINCO is prepared in a much clearer version, similar to galvanic zinc coating; therefore, it is particularly suitable for touch-ups and finishes on already galvanized parts. The product features a high content of micronized metallic powder, much  heavier than resin that causes sedimentation in the bottle, if not used.

Therefore, always shake the bottle well before use to avoid the irreversible clogging of the valve.
