DESORB 6002 has an exclusive property that makes it unique: it absorbs oil without absolutely absorbing water.
Its microscopic synthetic fibers, in fact, create inside a structure with alveoli able to absorb the oil by capillarity while allowing water to flow.

DESORB 6002, packaged in comfortable 5-liter "pillows", is made of polypropylene microfibers with a double-wall structure, which guarantees a long life and a high resistance to tearing. Each pillows absorbs up to 10 liters of oil and continues to float even if completely saturated.

USE

• Absorption of lubricating oil for guides that draws into the coolant tanks of machine tools. This drawback prevents the oxygenation of the solutions and therefore favors the development of anaerobic bacteria. DESORB 6002 replaces the oil separators.

• Separation of the oil from the water during the repair of refrigerating appliances.

• Elimination of oil from tanks for fluids that can be easily polluted by petroleum products.

• As a protective mat under annoying oil leaks, even outdoors.

NB: The absorbency of DESORB 6002 varies considerably depending on the viscosity of the oil.
