PROPERTY

FLYTRIN is effective against major household pests and industries: MOSQUITOES, FLIES, COCKROACHES, WOODWORMS, etc.
Permethrin is an active ingredient in the synthetic Pyrethroid family that acts by contact and by ingestion, without the intervention of a gaseous phase; this implies the advantage of being able to put the treated rooms back into operation immediately.
The Permethrin has a good knocking down effect and with a discrete residual action.

The primary mode of action differs from that of organophosphorus insecticides and carbamates, as Permethrin isn’t a cholinesterase inhibitor. Like the other pyrethroids, it causes excessive activity of the nerve cells, with subsequent blocking of the transmission of impulses. At a first stage in which the insect produces hyperexcitability, tremors and convulsions, it follows paralysis that leads slowly to death.
The Permethrin isn’t photosensitive, it is practically insoluble in water, at normal doses of use it is not phytotoxic, it is not very toxic for mammals and for fish and it is completely biodegradable.

TOXICITY

Conventional LD50 on rat

(D.M. 25 June 1990)
Permethrin 25/75 1479 mg / Kg.

USE

FLYTRIN is particularly indicated for disinfestation of premises, public vehicles, industries, warehouses and farms.

The diluted product must be sprayed with normal pressure pumps on the surfaces and in the environments to be treated.
Dilute FLYTRIN in water at most 1% to 2% (100-200 gr diluted in 10 liters of water), depending on the grade and type of infestation.
Against cockroaches and other more resistant insects the dose should be increased to 3- 4% (300-400 gr diluted in 10 liters of water).

WARNINGS

Read the label carefully before use.
Don’t apply the product directly on foodstuffs, feed and surfaces where food is prepared, eaten or stored.

CLASSIFICATION

Pursuant to the current regulations on the Classification, Packaging and Labeling of Hazardous Preparations - PMC, FLYTRIN (in its pure state) is classified as harmful and harmful to the environment.
