KEMFLOC SAN SPECIAL is an additive with sanitizing and deodorizing action for waters subject to various operational cycles like cooling, washing and paint booth waters. The product boasts a wide operating range and acts on the main types of micro-organisms that generally proliferate in storage tanks.

By blocking the fermentations, it favours the complete elimination of sulphate-reducing bacteria that produce bad odours, and ‘Legionella pneumophila’ which causes some forms of pneumonia in paint booth operators. 

When combined with clarification treatments, it allows extending the operational times of the water volume before draining.

METHODS OF USE

If the product is not used regularly for prevention purposes, an intensive treatment is required when the problem arises. We suggest carrying out preventive treatments on a regular basis.

Intensive treatment

Add 120 gr of KEMFLOC SAN SPECIAL for every 100 litres of process water. Circulate to further disperse the product. This treatment stabilizes the water for approx. 3-4 weeks.

Preventive treatment

Add 50 gr of product for every 100 litres of water to treat, preferably when loading the tank. Repeat the treatment every 3-4 weeks. During the hot season, repeat the treatment every 15 days.

The entity of smelly fermentations depends on numerous factors: temperature, cleaning level of the tank, quantity of over-spray. The suggested doses refer to situations of moderate severity. Quantities can be reduced thus saving on treatment costs, but the doses may be increased, also by 20-30% in case the results attained do not meet the expectations.  For optimal results, always separate the sludge formed during the physical-chemical clarification treatment.
