METALDEC INOX P is used to favour the formation of the layer of passivation of 300 series stainess steel. In fact thanks to this thin and invisible layer that steel has some characteristics of chemical inertness when it called to br used in many types of industrial environments, urban, ect.. METALDEC INOX P develops on the manufactctures articles in treatment timing not exceed 60 minutes a new passivation layer. The pieces with this treatment are ready to be used in the best conditions of chemical resistence. 

METHODS OF USE

METALDEC INOX P must be used in solution at a concentrations from 10% to 50%. The time of action for the type of alloy 300 series (typically 304 and 316) with minimum contents of Cr 16% with good approximation vary from 10 minutes to 1 hour depending from the operative conditions (hot 50°C max or at room temperature). The treatment can be done to immersion, spray or with scrub (use only plastic materials). In the case of extensive surfaces care must be taken to ensure that the surfaces remain wet from the solution for the time expected. In case you must follow the ASTM A380 the concentrations should be increased up until using the pure product.
